Welcome to FoodPile! This Payment Policy outlines the terms and conditions for making payments through our platform. By using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Some services offered on FoodPile require payment ("Paid Services"). To access Paid Services you must be at least 18 years old, maintain a valid FoodPile account, and keep payment and personal information accurate and up to date.
By accessing or using any Paid Services, you agree to pay applicable charges, taxes, and any extra fees that may apply. Charges you incur are shown at checkout before payment. Displayed prices may exclude additional fees (e.g. processing charges, sales tax, VAT) unless otherwise stated; any such fees will be shown prior to confirmation.
We support multiple convenient payment methods:
- Bank Transfers: Pay via bank transfer to designated FoodPile accounts listed on official invoices.
- Credit / Debit Cards: Secure processing (e.g., Visa, MasterCard) through trusted gateways.
- Digital Wallets: Options may include PayPal, Shop Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and others.
Payments can be made in Nigerian Naira or US Dollars (USD) depending on invoice terms. By paying, you confirm billing information is accurate; update promptly if details change.
We use trusted third‑party payment processors to handle payment information securely. When you enter payment details, they are transmitted directly to the processor and secured under their standards. FoodPile is not responsible for errors caused by third‑ party processors; however, contact us for assistance resolving any payment issues.
By making a payment, you authorize us to charge the selected method for the full amount due for utilized services.
- Invoices: Unless otherwise specified, payments are due within 48 hours of invoice issuance. Review invoices for accuracy and report discrepancies within 48 hours.
- Pricing Errors: We reserve the right to correct mistaken pricing and request correct payment even post‑transaction.
- Late Payments: Unresolved late payments may result in suspension or cancellation of service access; we attempt prior communication.
Subscription services may grant access to additional or premium features. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually). Cancel at least 5 business days before renewal to avoid charges for the next cycle.
By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges. If payment fails, we will notify you; service may be suspended until resolved.
- Overpayment: Excess payments are refunded.
- Cancelled Services: If you cancel before processing begins, a refund may apply.
- Processing Time: Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days.

All payments are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any applicable taxes (e.g., VAT, sales tax). You may be asked to provide a valid Tax Identification Number or other required tax details.
We use secure gateways and industry practices to protect transactions. Never share payment credentials outside trusted interfaces. Notify us immediately of suspected unauthorized access. We are not responsible for unauthorized transactions resulting from negligence on your part.
In case of payment default (missed payments or unresolved charges), we may suspend services and pursue legal remedies including recovery of collection fees and attorneys’ costs.
Keep billing information current (payment method, billing address, card details). Failure to update may cause delays or cancellation of services if we cannot process payment.
