(“FoodPile”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a digital marketplace for food item/groceries purchases and delivery. We take data protection and privacy seriously to ensure that our clients and subscribers' privacy are adequately guaranteed and protected.
This Privacy Policy describes our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of the information we collect from and about you when you use our Service, and the choices you have associated with that data. FoodPile collects information you provide directly to us. We process your information when necessary to provide the Services you request (including when you accept our Terms and Conditions), where we have your consent, or where we have a legitimate interest (e.g., security, testing, maintenance, enhancement, analytics, research, and reporting). Without certain information, we may not be able to provide requested Services or your use may be limited.
1.1 Information You Provide
- Contact, Account, and Profile: first name, last name, phone number, postal address, email address, date of birth, profile photo, and similar details depending on features used.
- Identity Information: where appropriate and per applicable laws, an image of your government-issued ID (e.g., passport, national ID, driver’s license), plus verification details such as date of birth, address, email, phone number, digital identity, and/or a selfie.
- Payment Transaction Information: payment account details, credit/debit card details, bank account info, payment method used, transaction date/time, amount, method expiration, billing postal code, PayPal email, IBAN, physical address, and other relevant transaction details. A trusted third‑party processor collects and stores payment information on our behalf and is responsible for its security.
1.2 Optional Information
- Gender, preferred language(s), city, personal description, and other profile details you choose to share.
- Payment instrument or contact information belonging to another person (you certify that you have permission and have shared this Privacy Policy with them).
- Support data (e.g., permissible call recordings/transcripts, support chats/messages) for customer support, investigation, and process improvement.
- Other information you submit in forms, surveys, promotions, community forums, contacts you import, address and/or geolocation, business information, or experience shared with us (which may include health information if you choose to provide it).

- Geolocation inferred from IP, device GPS, or other device data, subject to your settings/permissions.
- Usage: searches, bookings, added services, access dates/times, pages/content viewed, links, and similar activity (even if not logged in).

You can link your FoodPile account to third‑party services (e.g., social networks). Some linked data may be shown on your public profile based on your settings. We may also share reservation/order details with partners.
Our platform may include links to third‑party services we do not control (e.g., Google Maps, PayPal). If you use these services, you share information directly with them and their privacy policies apply. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies to understand their practices.
We implement and update administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration. While we use commercially acceptable means to protect Personal Data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
